Ruislip Victoria Cricket Club
Not quite Lords but home to
Ruislip Victoria.
Ruislip Victoria (the RV's) were formed just after WWII by RAF personnel based at West Ruislip and took it's name from playing at Victoria Road in Ruislip. Today, we run two League XIs on a Saturday (playing in the Berkshire Cricket League) with regular friendly Sunday, Midweek & Weekend XIs and various touring sides.
The home ground is the London Marathon Playing Fields (formerly Birkbeck College Sports Ground) in Greenford, Middlesex. This is a
private ground with a full-time resident Groundsman and boasts a members' bar, changing room and shower facilities etc.
We are a member's club, run by its members who enjoy this great game of cricket, be it playing at some nice grounds or enjoying a drink and a chat after the game. We are always on the look out for club cricketers and new players will always get a warm welcome.
